I sent the first lot with a friend to the Madrid show but when I spoke to her at lunchtime they hadn't sold anything...hope it's not a bad sign - the last Madrid fair was the same! Sad

Wonderful Janine, you wouldn't know, from the pictures, that they're only 1/48th.

there seems to be quite a group of collectors but I get the feeling that they make a lot of stuff themselves - mainly because there isn't much around to buy. The furniture seems to be mostly plastic although I've found a lady who makes the laser cut which is really quite detailed.

I guess you mean Susan K. She's very nice - I met her last year at Chicago where she does the IMA show, not the Bishop show. She did my purchases as an international sale so I didn't have to pay Chicago tax on them Very Happy

Or you could mean Ellen Crane who I also met there.

well I heard today that my friend at the Madrid show sold 2 dresses and 1 hat in 1/48 scale for me. Thank goodness she did...that was ALL she sold Rolling Eyes Another very quiet spanish fair...and one more to go next week
